Claude Dozorme Laguiole Liner Lock Fork, Spoon, and Knife

This is a gift for my awesome girlfriend, Véronique, she is a sweet Parisian who has helped me along my journey in France. Great woman, intelligent, knowledgeable, joyful, kind, cute, lovely, beautiful blue-eyed blonde.

She mentioned once that she would love to have the complete set, so well, here it is for her, engraved with her name on the pocket clip of each piece.

You are looking at a set of Laguiole liner lock fork, spoon, and knife.

These are the items (name and model number)

  • Cuillère Liner Laguiole (1.60.154.91)
  • Fourchette Liner Laguiole (1.60.153.91)
  • Grand modèle Liner Laguiole (1.60.140.91)

About the quality. I have not tested them myself, but just by inspecting them like any other knife I own I can tell that the design and built quality is really good. They are the size of any normal cutlery set.

I would recommend that you open the knife using two hands because the blade is not protected. You might get cut if you attempt a one-handed opening so be careful with that.

My girlfriend and I often go for walks and hikes in the mountains and most times we bring our own food to eat outside, kind of like a picnic. Me, the only thing I need is a sharp knife but I think that this will be a very convenient and elegant addition to her handbag or backpack.

You have the option of purchasing a specific leather pouch, but honestly I don’t think it is worth it. The pouch is not at the quality level of the cutlery set. I bought something else instead, different from the original pouch.

There is another cutlery set like this but with Thiers shape. I think the Laguiole fits my girlfriend better, the Thiers is more for me.

So there it is, she will receive this on March 22nd, 2018 for our first month anniversary. We do everything for our girlfriends don’t we?

I love you Véronique!

Here are the photographs.

  • Steel: X50CrMoV15
